2012 US Figure Skating Championships: Junior Men's Preview

Podium Predictions:
1) Nathan Chen
2) Harrison Choate
3) Timothy Dolensky
4) Timothy Koleto

If you've not seen Nathan Chen skate yet, you have no idea what you're missing. I had the pleasure of watching him live-what a treat! He has that undeniable spark, that star quality, that it takes to captivate a nation. I see big things for him in the future if he keeps going. He's reigning Novice Champion and if he hits the triple axel here as he's been practicing it, I don't think anybody can beat him. Harrison Choate is a great skater, much more mature looking clearly, and he scored higher in his sectional, but I think the judges and audiences will be so enamored with Chen that he'll have the edge. Look for the two Timothys to round out the podium.
